Seocho Garak Tower

This presented particular challenges in terms of the design of the Parallel-Projecting windows and their motor-driven drives – not least because the windows of the skyscraper are made up of many parallelograms of different shapes and sizes instead of uniform outlines. These challenges are met by our system technology: our in-house experts developed, among others, new Parallel-Projecting friction stays for the hardware of parallelogram-shaped windows.

These innovations ensure – together with concealed hardware and our concealed chain drives – an exceptionally high technical standard in harmony with the exclusive design by the Dutch architects Het Architecten Consort in Rotterdam.

GU solution: hardware for Parallel-Projecting windows and their motor-driven drives. New Parallel-Projecting friction stays were developed in-house for the parallelogram window forms of the Garak Tower
