Highest degree of pre-assembly
The scope of delivery includes the threshold sill, which is completely cut to size, assembled and screwed. The corner connectors are already installed, and all necessary sealing work has been carefully carried out. The hardware components as well as all necessary accessories are also cut to size, assembled and screwed or supplied ready for installation. This way, you receive all components precisely fitted and ready for quick and easy installation.
The following hardware and accessory items can optionally be ordered, cut to size:
- Weather profile extension (25, 40, 60 mm)
- KVM substructure profile and 50 mm building connection profile with gasket
- Guide rail including accessories matched to the respective profile system
- Lift gear lock (backset 27.5 mm and 37.5 mm)
- Carriage with connecting rod (ready for installation)
- Rotary handle of the DIRIGENT, BELCANTO or RONDO series
- HS SilentClose or HS StopUnit
- HS handle damper and tension spring; alternatively HS LiftUnit (matched to the sash weight)
- Lock monitoring
- RC2-certified components for increased burglary protection
KVM substructure profile
The KVM substructure profile is ideally suited for use with all GU-thermostep threshold sills. It impresses with its low weight and enables quick and uncomplicated processing – completely without steel reinforcement. The flush installation inside and outside ensures a perfect building connection. In addition, the advantageous material properties offer excellent thermal insulation, high strength values for compression and bending, as well as high pull-out values for screw connections. This means you benefit from efficient processing and long-lasting quality.
