Information regarding the processing of personal data

BKS GmbH

Acquisition, storage and processing of your data

Protecting your privacy when processing your personal data is extremely important to us. We only collect your personal data if you make it available to us, e.g. in your application or a job interview. BKS GmbH, Heidestraße 71, 42549 Velbert is responsible for data processing.

By sending your application you are expressing your interest in working at BKS GmbH.

The personal data, such as your name, contact details and application documents, you send to us are deposited in an internal application portal. Your data is only processed and acknowledged by the relevant contact persons.

Your data is used internally at BKS GmbH to search for suitable applicants. If a post that matches your profile becomes available, the employee responsible will send your data to the employee who is dealing with the application.

Storage duration

We retain your personal data in our application portal for one year at the most after the application process is complete, so your information is still available to us should any further vacant positions become available. You provide your express consent to our storage of your data for the aforementioned duration, and therefore to us contacting you again should any suitable positions arise during this period.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to [email protected]if you no longer wish us to retain your data or contact you in future. In this case we will not save your data for any longer than we have to in order to comply with the legal requirements. Your data will then only be retained for a period of up to six months if your consent is withdrawn in order to comply with the statutory provisions, especially the obligations to provide proof arising from the German General Act on Equal Treatment (AGG).

Legal basis

The legal basis for processing the data is Article 88 of the GDPR in combination with § 26 Section 1 Clause 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and § 26 Section 2 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Furthermore, in order to safeguard our legitimate interests, we process your data in accordance with Article 6 section 1 letter f) of the GDPR. Mutual claims may therefore arise in connection with the application process (e.g. rights according to the German Act on Equal Treatment (AGG), pre-contractual compensation claims). The personal data collected is therefore required to assert or defend these kinds of claims.

No transfer of your data

Your personal data is not made available to third parties in any form whatsoever, unless you provide your consent to this or in the event of regulatory action.

Your rights

You are entitled to request information on the data saved about you, and also copies of this data. If the legal prerequisites apply, you have the right to request the amendment, deletion or restriction in the processing of personal data.

Furthermore, if the legal prerequisites apply, you are entitled to object to the processing of data and to obtain a copy of the data you provided and the personal data that is relevant to you in a common machine-readable format.
