Weather-protected ixalo security hardware

ixalo – the electronic locking system by BKS combines a variety of electronic products and technologies into a state-of-the-art, sustainable overall system. ixalo can be equipped with BKS SE technology or RFID technology: MIFARE® (MIFARE Classic®, MIFARE® DESFire® EV1/EV2) which means that there are many possible applications and therefore greater flexibility when it comes to meeting individual customer requirements. Individual designs can be created conveniently, reliably and cost-effectively by combining mechanical and electronic locking systems.

New addition to the product range

The existing ixalo locking system is supplemented by the new weather-protected
ixalo security hardware.

  • Meets a high security requirement up to resistance class DIN 18257 ES3
  • The security hardware meets the EN 179 standard in combination with approved lever handle
  • Suitable for outdoor due to the protection class IP55

For certification in the highest resistance class, the hardware is milled from solid material.

Functions and equipment at a glance

  • Designed for timber,steel and narrow stile doors

  • Change of the lever handle direction right/left

Energy efficient
ixalo – the BKS electronic locking system is impressive due to the particularly low energy consumption of its products – one of the main criteria to be met by battery-op-erated systems. This is the only way to ensure a very large number of locking cycles.

Secure
Whoever opts for an electronic locking system can expect outstanding security in addition to a high degree of comfort. ixalo satisfies the highest security requirements of the EN 15684 standard for mechatronic locking cylinders by using extremely reliable encoding and communication mechanisms. The security of the ixalo | SE cylinder 5345 is certified by the VdS (independent institution in Germany that concerns itself with safety and trust in the fields of fire protection and security).

Economic
Locking systems are particularly cost-effective when electronic and mechanical cylinders are combined into one system. The prerequisite for this is that all cylinders, keys and transponders are managed uniformly within one software. The BKS KeyManager is thus an administration software with which modified access authorisations can be conveniently updated locally via the release terminals.
