ixalo | SE technology

The innovative ixalo electronic locking system with SE technology is versatile and can therefore be extended as and when the need arises, and can also be combined with existing mechanical components. In addition, the ixalo hardware and the BKS KeyManager software ensure maximum security.

The energy-efficient SE technology allows a large number of locking cycles (up to 600,000) and long standby times (up to 10 years).

    ixalo products ensure that your data is securely encrypted using the tried-and-tested AES-128 encryption standard.
  • Drilling/picking protection
    The certified security is based on an efficient drilling protection concept and provides additional protection in the event of drilling attempts.

    The BKS's SE technology is characterised by particularly low energy requirements. Up to 600,000 locking cycles and up to 10 years of standby time are guaranteed and therefore you will rarely have to change the battery.
  • Tried-and-tested software
    The access points and access media can be managed in the BKS KeyManager. The management software can control combinations of mechanical, mechatronic and electronic cylinders.
  • Loss of key
    If a key is lost or if the doors are reorganised, it is no longer necessary to replace the cylinder. The transponder can simply be reprogrammed instead or easily deleted from the software.
  • Quality
    Precision high-quality manufacturing defines the standard and reduces upkeep. A long battery live (up to 10 years) minimizes the maintenance costs

The ixalo cylinder is a convincing locking system due to its economic efficiency and flexibility. Its attractive design integrates seamlessly into the overall package of design-oriented access solutions. Available in different versions, e.g. with panic function, readable from both sides or as half knob cylinder.

With the ixalo lock | SE, the emphasis is on compact, visually appealing security as the entire system technology is integrated into the lock. Any door hardware can be chosen. Approved for use in fire rated doors and escape doors.

Using the wall reader, you can selectively control BKS motor-driven locks, multi-point locks, swing-door drives and parking barriers. The wall reader offers a large event memory, contactless programming and a secure control electronics in internal area.

The door hardware is a highly convenient and reliable solution for access organisation and integrates seamlessly into the complete system. It can easily be used on escape and rescue doors as well as on fire rated doors.

The programming device allows uncomplicated programming of ixalo access points. It can serve both as a programming device for programming the ixalo transponders and for reading access point events.

With the janus SE cylinder, the janus reversible key system and the ixalo | SE electronic locking system are combined to form a dual security unit. The janus SE cylinder combines the mechanical release of the key with an electronic identification and this causes the mechanical release in the cylinder.
