Electronic hardware is very comfortable. However, the price for you as customer is high: you cannot choose the design of the door hardware which is usually rather clumsy, and the electronic components are often installed in the outside zone which is not secure.
What's different about the ixalo lock: here you can have it all – free choice of design for the hardware, efficiently combined with superior security and comfortable operation. The exterior door handle is coupled using an authorised ixalo transponder, so the door can be opened conveniently. A wired reader next to the door is not required, as the access authorisations are stored in the lock itself. The lock can be perfectly combined with other electronic or mechatronic access points (e.g., ixalo knob cylinders) within a master key system – offline, online or virtually networked.

Gestalterische Freiheit an der Tür
Im Gegensatz zu elektronischen Beschlaglösungen kann beim ixalo-Schloss der Beschlag und damit das Design der Tür frei gewählt werden – z. B. mit bewährten Qualitätsbeschlägen von BKS oder die anderer Hersteller. Komfortable Bedienung und individuelle Gestaltung von Türen stehen so nicht im Widerspruch.
Kompakte, ästhetische Sicherheit
Elektronik, Leser und Batterie sind – statt im Außenbeschlag – sicher im Schloss integriert und dadurch vor unberechtigten Zugriff en geschützt. Die Tür ist durch den integrierten automatischen Fallenriegel immer verschlossen (außer bei gewünschter Tagesfreigabe). Komfortable Bedienung und hohe Sicherheit sind damit effizient kombiniert.
Kostengünstiges Nachrüsten für Türen im Bestand
Das ixalo-Schloss besitzt die DIN-Schlosskastenabmessungen. So lassen sich auch bestehende Türen leicht nachrüsten. Durch die Zulassung nach DIN 4102 und EN 1634 ist die Verwendung in Rauch- und Brandschutztüren zulässig.
