NRW.BANK

The facade is a combination of glass and light jura stone with a fine horizontal structure. The buildings are connected by a plinth storey which has been lowered to create a new open space which rises slightly above street level.

The compact volume of the new building of the NRW.BANK in Münster forms a successful symbiosis with the adjacent listed building. The integrated fully glazed revolving door is powered by an underfloor drive and has no crown as the ceiling forms the connection between the revolving door and the building directly. The air curtain system is a vertical version.
