Electrically operated hold-open devices for turn-leaf doors
The standard EN 1155 refers to electrically operated hold-open devices for Turn-Only doors. These devices allow doors to be held in an open position and to close automatically when required, for example in the event of fire or smoke. The standard defines the requirements and test methods for these devices to ensure their functionality and safety.
Closing sequence controller – requirements and test method
The EN 1158 standard refers to closing sequence controllers for double-leaf hinged doors. These controllers ensure that the two door leaves close in the correct order to provide effective sealing, especially for fire and smoke protection doors. The standard specifies test requirements and conditions and covers both separately mounted closing sequence controllers and those integrated into the door closer, which may be equipped with electrically operated hold-open devices.
