OFFICE hardware in accordance with DIN EN 1906 is designed for high-traffic project areas. It combines functional design with robust technology and is available as security hardware according to DIN 18257 as well as for fire and smoke protection doors – manufactured in compliance with CE guidelines and high quality standards.

The EN 1906 standard concerns the requirements and test methods for door hardware, especially door handles and levers. It classifies this hardware into different categories based on frequency of use, durability, security, and corrosion resistance. An important feature is the durability test, in which the door handles must withstand a high number of operations; in the highest user category, at least 200,000 operations are required. The products must also be able to offer specific properties such as maintenance-free operation.
