Hadid's design avoids hard angles and edges that are often typical of standard housing architecture. The facade consists of hand polished, organically curved metal elements. The dynamic curves produce a unique chevron pattern and interlocking levels that ensure privacy and security between apartments.
One of the apartment owners is the music legend Sting, a self-confessed 'property collector' who comments: "Like most people with working class roots who come into money, I don't trust the shares, bonds, investment funds and all these assets the financial industry has to offer. I prefer to invest my money in something tangible: bricks and mortar."
