Access to greater flexibility

Thanks to the SE technology by BKS, the products consume a particularly low amount of energy – one of the fundamental criteria to be met by battery-operated systems. This is to ensure a large number of locking cycles (up to 600,000) and long standby times (up to 10 years).

Convenient operation and individual door design does not necessarily have to be mutually exclusive. With the ixalo lock | SE, the emphasis is on compact, visually appealing security as the entire system technology is integrated into the lock. Any door hardware can be chosen.

ixalo RFID

Equipped with RFID technology: Mifare® (MIFARE® Classic®, MIFARE® DESFire® EV1), ixalo | RFID offers many possible applications to satisfy individual requirements.

Also in the context of RFID technology, ixalo is impressive due to the particularly low energy consumption of its products – one of the main criteria to be met by battery-operated systems. This is the only way to ensure a very large number of locking cycles (up to 70,000).

Many different variants and lengths of the ixalo knob cylinder are available to order. Due to their modular construction, their lengths can be individually adapted on-site. This provides a high degree of flexibility when making changes to space usage concepts, especially in the case of electronic access rights administration.

The ixalo hardware has a attractive design and fits seamlessly into the modular overall system. It offers an exceptionally convenient solution for access organisation and can be combined with a wide variety of lever handles. The door hardware is also suitable for use in escape and rescue routes (EN 179/EN 1125).

ixalo RFID

ixalo transponder

The ixalo transponder is an active system that minimises the battery consumption of the cylinder and ensures a long lifetime of up to 200,000 locking cycles, or 10 years standby or standard battery time. The battery is easy to change.

The transponder can be retrofitted to every existing BKS master key system. Multifunctional LEDs indicates active authorisations and battery level.

Consecutive numbering of IDs ensures simple and fast recording in the BKS KeyManager ixalo software.

janus SE

Provided with an additional electronic security feature, the proven janus mechanical cylinder system can be implemented especially flexibly. In terms of its outward appearance, the janus cylinder | SE is barely distinguishable from a purely mechanical cylinder. It is therefore suitable e.g. for areas where there is a risk of vandalism, in schools for instance. On the inside, the cylinder is protected by its robust rosette.
