Together with our customers, we develop tailor-made system solutions that enable a unique living experience. Our standard hardware is universally compatible with all profile materials. We design thresholds and system adaptations individually for timber, PVC, or metal systems. The lift and slide hardware can be operated both manually and electrically.

Since 1958, the GU Group has set standards in sliding technology with the invention of the lift and slide hardware. Through continuous development, the system now meets modern requirements such as large glass surfaces, accessibility, and high security. With a comprehensive range – from flush-fitted lift and slide doors to motor-driven lift and slide elements – GU combines comfort, design, and innovative technology for forward-looking residential construction.

Lift and Slide Doors Made of Timber

With the GU-930 lift and slide hardware, GU presents the world's first solution for timber lift and slide doors.

New hardware for sash weights up to 250 kg

The lift and slide hardware was further developed: the GU-931 now enables sash weights up to 250 kg. The GU-915 was replaced by the more powerful GU-916 with improved features.

New hardware for heavy and light sashes

Further developments: GU-933 lift and slide hardware for heavy sashes and GU-936 for light sashes, as well as GU-953 tilt and slide hardware for heavy and GU-956 for light sashes, are presented.

First thermally insulated threshold
