GU SECURY Automatic3 TEOR – Door locked, escape route clear
With the self-locking multi-point lock GU SECURY Automatic3 TEOR, you achieve maximum burglary resistance and safe escape in an emergency: the front door is locked from the outside but can always be opened from the inside without a key. For added convenience, as the key holder you can activate the daytime release by operating the key and handle, allowing the door to be opened from the outside without a key. This multi-point lock is used in entrance doors of private homes and apartment buildings, provided these do not have to meet the requirements of an emergency exit device according to EN 179 or a panic exit device according to EN 1125.
The multi-point lock in detail
- In combination with a strike plate including an exchange piece, misalignment on the frame side is impossible. When the daytime release is activated, the door is held by the latch in the strike plate thanks to the spring-loaded exchange piece
- The main lock case is prepared for the installation of profile cylinders or Swiss round cylinders
- The main lock case is equipped with a latch with changeover function
- No freewheel cylinder required: standard locking cylinders and fittings can be combined
- Reversible latch and automatic latch bolts: the multi-point locks can be used for both DIN left and DIN right applications
- Compatible with BKS access control systems such as intercom, wall push button, card reader, transponder, fingerprint scanner, radio transponder
- Suitable for door systems made of wood, PVC and metal
Innovative multi-point locks for your modern everyday life
Our innovative locking elements combine comfort, energy efficiency, flexibility, and security in a well-thought-out overall concept. With a special focus on user-friendliness and advanced technology, we have developed solutions that integrate seamlessly into your daily life. Discover the exceptional features that make our products the optimal solution for contemporary requirements:
Comfort
The automatic latch bolts extend 20 mm automatically after the door is closed, thus locking the door. The door can be opened from the outside with the key and from the inside with the door handle. By optionally installing an A-opener, the automatic latch bolts can be retracted electrically.
Energy efficiency
The automatic locking mechanism prevents warping of the door leaf and ensures a high level of sealing.
Flexibility
The daytime release function allows the automatic locking to be manually deactivated. The additional locking points remain retracted, allowing the door to be used continuously.
Security
A locked front door obstructs escape routes and endangers safe evacuation in an emergency, according to a ruling by the Frankfurt Regional Court (2015). Therefore, doors in apartment buildings must not be locked. The GU SECURY Automatic3 TEOR always allows easy opening in the direction of escape without a key.
