Beauty Crown Hotel – Luxury meets nature and design
The seven-star hotel looks from a distance like green trees built from Lego bricks, with brown branches, roots, and red fruits. The luxury hotel is equally attractive to tourists and business travelers; it is located on an island in the popular coastal region in southern China – surrounded by mountains and rivers with a marina.
The nine "trees" are each 100 meters high and provide space for 6,668 luxury hotel rooms as well as shops, restaurants, bars, and cultural centers. The expansive tree structure creates twice as much space at height as the footprint would suggest.

Gretsch-Unitas Baubeschläge supplied the components for 9,000 lift and slide doors for the award-winning Beauty Crown Hotel, optimally tailored to the exceptional architecture and the requirements of the project.
Since 1958, Gretsch-Unitas has set standards with its lift and slide system. The universally applicable fittings for timber, PVC, and metal can be individually adapted – including threshold solutions. They can be operated manually or electrically, are tested for burglar resistance up to RC 3, and are also certified for retrofitting.
