Door viewers

Look who's there

A door viewer is a mechanical or electronic fixture in a door which enables the person standing in front of the door to be identified without having to open it.

The door viewer performs a so-called visitor screening function which increases the security of apartments. When the doorbell rings, residents who are at home can see who it is through the door viewer and decide whether they want to open the door.

Door viewers are widely used in multiple-occupancy dwellings in particular, and are fitted in more or less every apartment.

Analogue and digital door viewers are available from BKS, and can therefore be individually adapted to the specific requirements of the occupants.
