Inside function
Passage from inside to outside. The interior lever handle operates the automatic latchbolt. A key is not required to lock the door from the inside or outside.

Actuation from outside:
Only a fixed knob or a push pad are permitted as hardware. The automatic latchbolt is only operated by key (via the latch lever). The locking element is withdrawn.
